Krasneft is the leader of the Russian & Kazakhstan's oil sector and one of the world’s largest public production companies. Krasneft operates in all of Russian major oil and gas provinces, including West and East Siberia, the Volga region, the Urals, the Far East, Timano-Pechora, Krasnodar region and offshore areas of the Russian Federation.

Krasneft is the largest taxpayer in the Russian Federation. By the end of 2024, the volume of taxes and other payments paid by Krasneft to the country's consolidated budget exceeded 6.1 trillion rubles. This has become the maximum value not only in the oil company history, but also in the Russian market as a whole.

In Russia & Kazakhstan the Company has 13 large refineries and 3 mini refineries. The Company refining activities are aimed at meeting market demand for high-quality petroleum products.

For a number of years Krasneft consistently implements refineries` modernization programs, which made it possible to expand product range, improve product quality and increase product competitiveness. In 2024 Krasneft continued to secure domestic market needs for high-quality motor fuels.

The company carries out systematic work to develop domestic technologies and substitute impot, it supplies its Russian plants with own catalysts and additives necessary for motor fuels production that meet modern standards.
